Background: Heterotopic Ossification (HO) of the knee is most commonly formed anteriorly to distal femoral shaft in quadriceps expansion. Although incidence severe HO with large dimensions affecting and resulting consequences extremely rare, these cases are difficult prevent have clinical limitations for patient. Aim: The purpose this study was present explore formation after Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA). Conclusions: It crucial perform a stratification patients risk TKA gain better understanding fundamental role post-operative treatments. In HO, surgery should be considered following appropriate investigations only when has fully matured. comparison Hip (THA), less frequent underexplored. Therefore, further studies required. This case report can represent protocol treatment clinically relevant TKA.
